Inmate at Seneca County Jail Arrested on Contraband Charges

An inmate at the Seneca County Correctional Facility was arrested Monday by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

30-year-old John Becker, of Whitesboro, is accused of possessing undisclosed prohibited items on him while incarcerated at the jail.

Becker was charged with four counts of promoting prison contraband and will be arraigned at CAP Court

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
