A Honeoye man was taken into police custody following the investigation into a suspicious condition at Clifton Springs Hospital late Friday night.
24-year-old Ryan Parkinson was allegedly found to be in possession of a white powder substance that would field test positive for heroin.
Parkinson was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was released on an appearance ticket.
