A hit-and-run crash on Castle Street in the city of Geneva Saturday afternoon resulted in the arrest of a Phelps man.

Jeffrey Barra was subjected to standardized field sobriety testing by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office. After the tests, it was determined that Barra had driven his car while in an intoxicated condition. A Datamaster breath test was administered to Barra, which showed him to have a .16 BAC.

Barra was charged with DWI and will answer the charge in Geneva City Court at a later date.
