Guilty Plea in Fat Daddy’s Raid

A person involved in the seizure of over 110 pounds of marijuana and $250,000 cash from Fat Daddy’s smoke shops has pleaded guilty to several felony charges in Yates County Court.

Corey Keller, a 34-year-old resident of Elmira, admitted to attempted grand larceny, conspiracy, and attempted criminal possession of a weapon. According to District Attorney Todd Casella, Keller faces up to six months in jail and five years of probation, along with a payment of over $11,000 to the state Department of Taxation and Finance. Keller also agreed to forfeit $60,000 that was seized from his residence by State Police.

The sentence will be handed down by state Supreme Court Justice Jason Cook on June 10.
