The investigation into a larceny complaint on Saturday at the Geneva Walmart store resulted in the arrest of a 61-year-old Geneva woman.

Carmen Santiago was allegedly found to have stolen store merchandise in the amount of $13.52 after she failed to render payment past the last points of sale. Police say she was also found to have worked in concert with another female suspect. Santiago was located by the Geneva Police Department and turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Ultimately, she was issued an appearance ticket and will return to Geneva Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
