Geneva Woman Arrest on Bench Warrant

On Thursday, June 20th, 2024, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Jessica M. Newbrook, age 34, of Geneva, NY, on a bench warrant for

failure to appear in court; the original charge stems from Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and Use of Drug Paraphernalia in

the second degree. During the initial arrest, Newbrook was released on an appearance ticket, which scheduled her to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court.

Newbrook failed to appear for her scheduled court date, and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest. Newbrook was transported to the Seneca

County Jail for arraignment at CAP court. The New York State Police assisted in the arrest.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
