The investigation into a suspicious incident in the parking lot of a business on Genesis Way in the town of Geneva resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old Geneva man.
Nathaniel Parata was reported to be sitting in an idle truck for several hours, possibly unconscious. Deputies found Parata asleep in the running truck and also found him to allegedly be in possession of an illegal controlled substance.
Parata was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was released to appear in court next week.
