An incident at a motel in the town of Hopewell Friday night resulted in the arrest of a Geneva man on an assault charge.
Few details were released by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office regarding the incident at the D&D Motel, which resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Jurrell Thompson. In addition to assault, Thompson was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Following his arrest, Thompson was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
