Geneva Man Accused of Threatening Person Over the Phone

A Geneva man has been charged with criminal contempt and aggravated harassment after he allegedly spoke to a person over the telephone and threatened their life in front of a witness.

Brian Blankenberg was arrested at a residence on Hamilton Street by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office. Following his arrest, the 40-year-old Blankenberg was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.

Further court proceedings involving Blankenberg will take place in Canandaigua Town Court.
