Geneva Man Accused of Possessing Unregistered Semi-Auto Pistol

A Geneva man was arrested after he was allegedly found to have an unregistered loaded semi-automatic pistol in his possession during a traffic stop in the town of Hopewell.

42-year-old Rafael Corbonell-Toro was also allegedly found to be in possession of a large metal knife and controlled substances. Carbonell-Toro was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Carbonell-Toro was sent to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of bail.
