A report received by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office of a driver operating a vehicle erratically in the area of State Street and Robinson roads in the town of Throop resulted in the arrest of a Mentz resident.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they reported seeing a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road with one person inside. An investigation was conducted and Monica Lucio was placed into custody for DWI. The Sheriff’s Office reports Lucio was transported back to the Public Safety Building where she provided a breath sample of .19 BAC. Due to her BAC, Lucio was charged with aggravated DWI.
Lucio will appear in Throop Town Court at a later date.
