On Tuesday, the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Linda Fuller, age 67, of Dundee, following an investigation into a motor vehicle collision that occurred in July 2025.

According to police, Fuller was operating a vehicle southbound on Liberty Street when she failed to stop for a steady red signal at the Lake Street intersection, causing a collision with another vehicle. Responding officers suspected Fuller was impaired at the scene and subsequently collected a blood sample.

Laboratory results allegedly showed a quantity of prescription drugs in her system that contributed to the crash. Fuller turned herself in to the Penn Yan Police Department, where she was processed on the charge.

She was issued traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
