A Rochester man faces charges in Ontario County following a routine traffic stop in the city of Geneva.

It was determined by Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies that Alfredo Figueroa was driving without a license. Furthermore, it was determined Figuerora was driving on a suspended license. Figueroa failed to appear in court more than ten times for vehicle and traffic violations.

Figueroa was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and was transported to the Ontaroi County Jail for arraignment.

Figueroa must appear in Geneva City Court at a later date to answer the charge. He was also cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to notify the DMV of an address change.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
