We were given new details on Monday of the car versus motorcycle accident that happened in the village of Penn Yan last Tuesday morning.
The motorcyclist, from Stow, Massachusetts, was riding east on Clinton Street when a southbound car on Hamilton Street struck him as they failed to yield the right of way at the intersection.
The motorcyclist was taken to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for minor injuries and his female passenger, also from Stow, Massachusetts, was taken to Strong for serious injuries. The driver of the car, Allison Laws, of Penn Yan, was ticketed for failure to yield.
