A car accident Friday afternoon in Seneca County resulted in the arrest of a Geneva man.
Thomas Hegel was charged with driving while intoxicated after police say he drove into the back of a trailer parked alongside a roadway in the town of Fayette. Hegel suffered a minor injury and declined any medical treatment. Hegel was released on an appearance ticket for Fayette Town Court.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by North Seneca Ambulance on the scene.
