On June 16th, 2024 the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Rebecca A. Mayo, age 41, of Clyde NY on a bench warrant. The original charge stems from one count of petit larceny, where Mayo was accused of stealing merchandise from a local business. During the initial larceny, Mayo was released on an appearance ticket, scheduling her to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court, but when Mayo failed to appear for her scheduled court date a warrant was issued for her arrest. Mayo was transported to the Seneca County Jail for arraignment at CAP court. The Wayne County Sheriffs Office assisted in this arrest.
