Clyde Woman Accused of Giving Troopers Fake Name During Traffic Stop

State Police have arrested a Clyde woman on a felony charge of falsifying business records subsequent to an August 20th traffic stop.

55-year-old Paula Whitfield is accused of providing a false name to troopers for an uninspected motor vehicle. Whitfield completed the ticket and returned it to Galen Town Court.

In addition to the felony, Whitfield was charged with misdemeanor criminal impersonation and will answer both charges in Galen Town Court in November.
