A Clyde man was arrested following an investigation into a trespassing complaint at Clyde-Savannah High School.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 66-year-old Mark Devito, of Lock Street in the Village of Clyde had gone onto school property and remained there while causing a disturbance, despite having previously received two written notices barring him from the property.
Deputies arrested Devito and charged him with third-degree criminal trespass.
He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where he was processed and later released on an appearance ticket.
Devito is scheduled to appear in Galen Town Court on Feb. 18 at 8:30 a.m.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
