Clifton Springs Woman Charged With DWI

A Clifton Springs woman who was initially stopped for allegedly speeding in Seneca County was charged with driving while intoxicated.

It is alleged that Carly Bennett was initially stopped for driving over 25 miles per hour above the posted speed limit. It was determined that during the course of the investigation, Bennett was found to allegedly be driving while intoxicated.

Bennett was held for CAP Court at the Seneca County Correctional Facility due to her refusing to submit to a chemical test. Bennett will also appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
