The Yates County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Michael Gage, 36, of Clifton Springs, following a domestic violence investigation in the Village of Rushville.

Gage was taken into custody on Tuesday at the Yates County Sheriff’s Office on charges of second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree harassment, and unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.

He was held for arraignment in CAP Court and is scheduled to answer to the charges in Town of Potter Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
