A traffic stop in Cayuga County resulted in the arrest of a Victory man on a criminal contempt charge.
On Wednesday night, deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Broadway and Pople roads in Victory. During the investigation, it was determined that Charles Kirk was allegedly in violation of a full stay-away order of protection with a passenger in the car. Kirk was placed into custody and charged with criminal contempt.
Following his arraignment on Thursday, Kirk was sent to Cayuga County Jail in lieu of bail.
