Cayuga County Man Charged Following Harassment Complaint

The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Brutus man following a harassment complaint reported on July 11th.

According to Sheriff Brian Schenck, 34-year-old Adam Wiggins was charged with Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after allegedly making a threatening phone call.

Deputies responded to a residence in the Town of Brutus around 5:30 p.m. on July 11th, where a victim reported receiving a threat from Wiggins regarding damage to their property. After investigating, deputies arrested Wiggins around 10 p.m. the same night.

He was processed at the Public Safety Building and released with an appearance ticket. Wiggins is scheduled to appear in Brutus Town Court on July 22
