A Cato man has been arrested for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, Edward Babiarz was taken into custody Tuesday on an arrest warrant at his Powers Road home. The warrant stems from a February 1 investigation where he is accused of taking a relative’s car for a period of time without their permission.
Babiarz was taken to the Cayuga County Jail for arraignment. He was also arrested on a separate warrant for Violation of Probation.
