A Canandaigua woman has been arrested on a felony charge of drunken driving under Leandra’s Law.

Kacy Bucklin was arrested following a report to Canandaigua Police of a sick or intoxicated driver on Gorham Street. An investigation determined the 36-year-old had been allegedly driving her car in an intoxicated condition with a five-year-old child as a passenger.

Bucklin was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and will appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
