A Canandaigua resident was charged with assault following an incident in the Ontario County city.
38-year-old Houston Fountaine allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another person, which resulted in injuries. The victim was treated at Thompson Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and was released.
Fountaine was also charged with aggravated family offense and was taken to the Ontario County Jail for CAP arraignment.
