The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Canandaigua man was arrested following a domestic incident that prompted a 911 call.

Deputies say 45-year-old Joshua Johnson of Canandaigua was taken into custody on Saturday. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, menacing in the second degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence after receiving a 911 call related to a domestic dispute. Following their investigation, Johnson was arrested and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
