A Canandaigua man has been charged in connection with an incident at Thompson Hospital last month.

Police say 35-year-old Steven Jones was served a criminal summons on August 29 for Harassment in the Second Degree. The charge stems from a July 30 report alleging that Jones, while a patient at the hospital, inappropriately touched an employee.

Jones is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
