A Canandaigua man has been arrested on charges of burglary, criminal mischief, assault, and criminal contempt for his alleged role in a disturbance that happened at a Cayuga Road address.
An investigation determined that 37-year-old Seth Merklinger damaged a door in order to gain entry into a home, which belonged to the protected party of a stay-away order of protection. Upon entering the home, Merklinger caused an injury to an elderly resident.
Merklinger was brought to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
