Ontario County deputies say a Canandaigua man was arrested after violating an order of protection during a disturbance at a restaurant on Eastern Boulevard.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Kurtis Freeman approached a person and their children while they were dining on November 24 and demanded they leave, despite having an active stay-away order of protection in place.

Freeman was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
