A two-car accident on Saturday in the area of County Road 10 and Recreation Drive in the town of Canandaigua resulted in the arrest of a Canandaigua man.
An investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office revealed that 30-year-old Jared Johncox, of Canandaigua, was allegedly driving in an intoxicated condition and failed to stop which resulted in him striking the car in front of him.
Johncox submitted to a breath test, which yielded a BAC of .23%
Johncox was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and will appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
