A traffic stop in the village of Bath resulted in the arrest of a Georgia man.

Bath Police report they pulled the vehicle over on West Washington Street for speeding. The driver of the car, 39-year-old Isaac Weston, of Thomasville, Georgia, was determined to be driving without a license. It was further determined Weston had a full extradition warrant of arrest out of the state of Georgia for a parole violation.

The vehicle was impounded due to being unregistered and uninsured. A passenger in the vehicle was released from the scene.

Weston was taken into custody as a Fugitive from Justice and transported to the Steuben County Jail to await extradition.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
