Bath Man Accused of Setting Own Home on Fire

A February house fire in the town of Bath was intentionally set.

State Police charged 47-year-old Timothy DeWolf with felony arson for allegedly setting the February 6th fire at his State Route 415 home. When the first units arrived on the scene, black smoke was seen coming from both ends of the single-story residence. A preliminary investigation indicated suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire.

Following his arrest, DeWolf was sent to Steuben County Jail for arraignment.
