On Friday, members of the Auburn Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Seymour Street in the City of Auburn.
During the course of the investigation, officers identified a passenger in the vehicle as Corey Gamlen. As the traffic stop progressed, officers allegedly located a quantity of crack cocaine and a digital scale, along with other drug paraphernalia. Gamlen was subsequently taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing.
Upon a further search of Gamlen’s person, officers allegedly located a quantity of U.S. currency as well as a quantity of Fentanyl.
As a result of the investigation, Gamlen was charged with two felony counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. Following his processing, Gamlen was transported to the Cayuga County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
