An Auburn man faces new drug charges after a search warrant executed at his Thornton Avenue home turned up more than 77 grams of cocaine and 49 grams of crack cocaine. When police caught up with Kyreese Gilliam, he was allegedly found to have $7,500 and a small amount of cocaine on him.
Police say the 26-year-old was allegedly on the street selling and dealing drugs all while awaiting sentencing for unrelated gun and drug charges from last July. Gilliam was released from police custody due to New York’s Bail Reform laws.
Gilliam now faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
