An appellate court has upheld the 2021 attempted bank robbery conviction of a Red Creek man.
After failing in his attempt to get money from the Cato branch of Community Bank in October 2019, Jason Ingleston broke into a home in Ira. When Ingleston was taken into custody, he was found to be in possession of the bank holdup note and several items from the home.
The Appellate Division recently affirmed Ingleston’s conviction. He will serve 13 years in prison and five years on post-release supervision.
