Accident Leads to DWI Arrest in Seneca Falls

A one-car accident Saturday morning resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old Seneca Falls man.

Shaun Johnson struck a guard rail on State Route 89 in Seneca Falls which caused significant damage to his car. During the accident investigation, it was determined Johnson was allegedly driving his car while intoxicated. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with 0.08% or more BAC, moving from lane unsafely, and driving across hazard markings.

Johnson was released on an appearance ticket scheduling him to appear in the town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charges.
