Yuk “Jade” Li, 57, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at Cayuga Medical Center, surrounded by love.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and respected local business owner for more than 37 years, Jade was loved and respected by many. Through her dedication, warmth, and tireless work ethic, she built not only a successful business but also lasting relationships with customers and friends who became like family.
Jade found great joy in life’s simple and beautiful pleasures. She loved sharing food with those she cared about, tending to her garden, and spending cherished time with her family. Her Buddhist faith guided her with compassion, mindfulness, and generosity, values she lived by every day.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Wei Lin; her children, David (Karen), Ling (Joshua), Tommy, and Jacky; and her treasured grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Chloe. Her parents, Wing Bor Lee and Yuk Kam Cheung; her siblings, Fisher, Ada (Chi Wan), and Bonnie (Calvin); and her many nieces and nephews. Her love and wisdom will continue to live on through them.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider planting a tree in her memory or making a donation to the Namgyal Monastery in Ithaca.
Jade will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely.
