Thomas C. Viglione, age 89, of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Thomas was born November 16, 1935, the son of Torquato (Tom) and Margaret Spicer Viglione. Tom graduated from Watkins Glen High School in 1953 and then attended the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. He served as an ARMY reservist, worked as an ACE/Surveyor, and was employed by and retired from the NYSDOT. He was a lifetime member of the Redmen Club and a lifelong resident of Watkins Glen, NY.
Tom was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Beverly, in 2024.
He is survived by his son, Thomas C. Viglione of Kansas City, MO; daughters, Elizabeth Fraboni of Hector, NY, and Margaret Kuznets (Douglas Gerow) of Spruce, MI; grandchildren, Ashley Viglione of Syracuse, NY, Mark Fraboni (Tristine Mace) of St. Petersburg, FL, Sarah Kuznets of Cape Coral, FL, and Tommy Viglione of Kansas City, MO; daughter-in-law, Chanh Viglione of NC; and son-in-law, Alex Kuznets of NJ; brother, John Viglione of Tustin, CA; sisters, Marion Viglione of Gloversville, NY, and Margaret Flint of Cornwall on Hudson, NY.
In addition to his parents and wife, Tom was predeceased by his son John Viglione, sister-in-law Marcia Viglione, son-in-law Anthony J. Fraboni, brother-in-law Charles Flint, and granddaughter Samantha Viglione.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Pleasant View Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Schuyler County Historical Society, 108 N.
