Robin L. Fenton-Roy, 51, of Richford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center on January 1, 2026, after a brief illness. Robin was born on August 13, 1974, in Ithaca, a daughter of the late Richard and Emily (Ames) Fenton. She was a graduate of the Groton Central School Class of 1993. Robin was a property coordinator for the Dryden Apartment Company for several years, providing services most recently to Willow Brook Manor in Dryden and to Fountain Manor in Slaterville Springs.
Robin was a creative person who enjoyed crafting and spending time with family and her three dogs. She was always smiling, even in difficult times. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Roy, of Richford; children: Damian Fenton, Alexis Roy, and Logan Roy; grandchildren: Peyton Bush, Hunter Bush, Adalia Feliz, and Koby Woodcook; and her sisters: Roxanne Fenton (Anthony Smith), of DeRuyter, and Erin Skinner (Shaun), of Groton.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 on Saturday, January 17, at the Groton Fire Station, 308 Main St., with food catered. Arrangements are with the Shurtleff Funeral Home, Groton, and online condolences may be shared with her family at www.shurtleffservices.com.
