Patricia "Pat" Louise Grover, 86, of Odessa, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 17, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born in Penn Yan, New York, the daughter of the late Everett and Erva Champion.
Pat led a full and vibrant life with Ed and the children. Building Grover Farms, hunting, fishing, gardening, and collecting maple syrup were just a few of the moments in life that brought Pat joy. Pat also worked for Ashland Oil Company, Wegmans, and in the seasonal grape vineyards.
Pat was predeceased by her loving husband and companion of 60+ years, Arnold "Ed" Grover, who passed away on February 19, 2020. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Mary, Ellie, Virginia "Ginny," and her brother, Gary.
Surviving are her children, Barbara (Robert) Burleigh of Newfield, NY, Diane Smith of Odessa, and Rod (Carol) Grover of Odessa; two sisters, Laverna and Henrietta; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Pat's wishes, there will be no formal services. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM at 5335 Grover Rd., Odessa, NY.
