Marie L. Roberts, 68, of Marathon, NY, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2025, in Concord, North Carolina. Born July 7, 1957, in Malone, NY, she was the daughter of John and Patricia Peno. Marie was a long-time employee of Cornell University and had recently retired.
Marie is survived by her husband, Richard Roberts; daughter, Brandy Lynn Roberts; son, Bryan Andrew Roberts; grandchildren, Kayla Marie Pittsley, Abbygail Ferri Cornish, Lexi Jean Roberts, Richard B. Roberts, and Annabel Lee Roberts; sister, Winifred Belanger Warren (Jesse Warren IV); nephew, Jesse Warren V; aunt, Gail Clark (Jareth Clark); and many extended family members and friends. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
