Jonah D. Maine, 83, of Lansing, NY, passed away on January 7, 2026, surrounded by his family.
He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Jonah is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Susan (Cornell) Maine; his children, Carrie (Randy Adams), Jonah (Theresa), Kevin (Lori), and loving pup, Loretta; siblings, Robert (Audrey), Edward, and James; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jonah was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Carrie Maine; siblings, Myrtle Buckingham, Peggy Boutatwell, Alvin Ross, Floyd, Marshall, Gene, Roger, and Richard.
Jonah enjoyed going to the casinos, watching NASCAR races, and sitting outdoors and watching nature. He will be missed but remembered for always being there for those in need. The impressions he made on everyone will live on forever.
In keeping with Jonah's wishes, there will be no services.
