One of his greatest joys was watching all his family and friends grow. John shared his life for 40 wonderful years with his loving partner Pat Baker. Their four decades together were filled with loyalty, laughter, and countless memories.
Known to man as "Crash" with his deep passion for racing, he proudly raced the 109 and then 4R - the 4 Roses for his 4 kids. The racetrack was more than a pastime; it was where friendships were formed and memories were made. His nickname followed him both on and off track and became part of the legacy he built in the racing community. When his racing career ended, he enjoyed golfing and riding his Harley.
John will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for racing, his golfing adventures, his adventurous spirit, and the steady presence he brought into the lives of those who knew him. May he ride free and race in heaven.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 4-6 PM at Bangs Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
