Joan L. Lane

Joan L. Lane, age 83, of Dundee, NY, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, after an extended illness. Joan was born on November 15, 1941, in Sayre, PA, to the late Joseph and Marie (Griffin) Roberts. Joan is predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles I. Lane, and son, George "Ricky" Andrews. She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Howard) Rumsey, Ann (Charlie) Shoop, Martin (Michelle) Andrews, and Charles Lane, along with several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Joan was a talented seamstress and worked at Mr. Jeans Fine Line Hosiery in North Carolina. She was Pentecostal by faith and loved her family, camping, the outdoors, and all that nature had to offer. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 12-1 PM at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY. Joan's funeral service will begin at 1 PM, with a burial service to follow at Tyrone Union Cemetery.
