Jo Livermore, most recently of Waterloo, and previously of Seneca Falls, passed in the early morning hours on Monday, February 2nd, 2026 at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo. All services for Jo will be held privately, at the convenience of her family. Donations in memory may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
Jo was born in Norwich, NY, daughter of the late George and June (Hines) Daily. She grew up in Oxford, NY, where she graduated from Oxford High School. In the early 2000s, Jo relocated to the Finger Lakes to take employment with the ARC/Mozaic. Jo never looked at taking care of her residents as work. She developed many close relationships over the years with her residents, and they became close to her like family. It was around this same time that she met Richard "Rick" Daugenti, and the pair became a couple. They loved to travel, camp, and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Jo also liked to craft and attend the many craft fairs held in the area over the warmer months.
Jo is survived by her son, Jason (Tanya) Barnes of Broadalbin, NY; daughter, Sarah Jones of TN; grandsons, Jonathan and Jerick Barnes of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Thomas Daily of San Diego, CA; brothers-in-law, Tom Welch of Binghamton, NY and Jim Gosart of Johnson City, NY; Rick's daughters, Krissy Barone, Sarah Daugenti, Joanna Bailey, and their families. In addition to her parents, Jo was predeceased by her longtime companion of 21 years, Rick Daugenti; and sisters, Janet Welch and Lynne Gosart.
