South Carolina/Sodus;
Frank Monachino II, of Swansea, South Carolina formally of Sodus, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at age 70.
Frank was born on November 23, 1955, in Buffalo, NY. The son of Frank S. and Bessie E. (Wood) Monachino of Sodus. He was a 1973 graduate of Sodus Central High School. He worked as a Millwright. He also, traveled around the country working at various Nuclear Power Plants. He enjoyed meeting new people and sightseeing.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors. He loved riding his Harley. He made two trips to Sturgis, South Dakota. One of his greatest joys was smoking meats and sides for his many friends.
He was a United States Marine. He was a member of the American Legion and the Carpenters Union.
He is survived by his Mother, Bessie Monachino, his Sisters, Diane LaGasse and Janice (Steven) Briggs; Brothers Michael Monachino and Dean Monachino. Aunt, Linda Wood, several nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and great nephews. Special friends Jim and Jennifer Slover.
He is preceded in death by his Father Frank S. Monachino and his Brother-in-law Jeffry LaGasse.
A spring burial will be held, details to be announced at a later date.
