Dana Marie (Benjamin) Laughlin, age 53, of Beaver Dams, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Corning Guthrie Hospital, surrounded by loved ones and family. Dana was born on May 23, 1972, in Elmira, NY, to James and Kathy (Allington) Benjamin. Dana is predeceased by her parents; grandmother, Clara Wishneska; and sister, Ericka Benjamin. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Chris Laughlin; children, James Benjamin (Elise Gardner), Kyle (Stacey) Benjamin, and Kalli Laughlin (Gavin VanDerEems); brother, Michael Benjamin; and grandchildren, Bentley Laughlin, Miley Benjamin, and Leon Benjamin.
Dana was a devoted homemaker and wife, who created a wonderful home where she raised her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking, as well as her beloved cats, but truly relished her time as a wife, mother, and 'Nani.' She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 12-2 PM at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY. Dana's funeral service will begin at 2 PM with burial to follow in Montour Cemetery.
