Bill Duane Deal

Waterloo: Bill Deal, 68, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, February 2, 2026.
Friends and family are invited to call Saturday, February 7 from 3 – 6 PM at the Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia St., Waterloo. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Springs in the Sampson veterans cemetery, with full military honors.
Bill was born on November 6, 1957, in Waterloo, the son of the late Ralph A. and Rose J. (Brewer) Deal. He was a 1975 graduate of South Seneca Central School and went on to earn his degree from Wellsville Technical College in 1977. Bill proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked for CCN in Geneva for 37 years and also spent time at the Geneva Movieplex, where he enjoyed connecting with people in the community. Bill loved fishing, bowling, and watching sports, simple pleasures that brought him joy throughout his life.
Bill is survived by his siblings Trishia (Frank) Rich, Rose (Juan) DeOrtega, Karene (Tom) Cook, Debbie Coleman, Roxanne (Will) Williams, Brenda Warner, June (John) McCracken, and Joan O’Day, Ralph (Cindy) Deal and James Deal; as well as several stepbrothers, stepsisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by the love of his life, Julia, on January 8, 2026, and by his brother, Bruce Deal.
