West Bloomfield Fire Damages House, Destroys Garage

A house in Ontario County suffered suffered major damage after a Monday morning fire.

Officials say crews responded to the fire on Conn Road in West Bloomfield around 11:30a where the home and attached garage were in flames.

After the fire was put out, the house was found to have suffered heavy damage and the garage was a total loss.

One dog was rescued from the house and two cats are missing. The occupants are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
