Some high praise for the Hobart hockey team and junior Kahlil Fontana who scored the winning goal last month to give Hobart it’s third straight National Championship.

Fontana’s leaping, diving goal caught the attention of one of the greatest to play the sport: Bobby Orr.

Replying to a video of Fontana’s goal on X, the Hall of Fame Boston Bruins defenseman wrote “Look’s familiar,” a reference to Orr’s famous Stanley Cup-winning goal in 1970.

Fontana tells the Finger Lakes Times “I’m absolutely still starstuck about it and I think I will be forever.”
